This week the goal is to relax and rejuvenate. Self care is vital for the mind, body and soul. Start with your relaxation routine. Give yourself a luxurious bubble bath and full on spa treatment at home. Get cozy with your favorite magazine or good book. Rejuvenate and relax this week. Find ways to relax and reset during the week. Follow the action steps and write out goals for things you plan to reset for each day with our clarity calendar.
The first week we decluttered and cleaned our living and work space, this week we are relaxing, journaling and resetting ourselves to reflect and work in our purpose.
The new year can put the pressure to start brand new with goals, visions and ideas. Where this is not a bad idea for all, for some of us there are some old goals and visions that never manifested to its purpose. What will happen if we revisited those ideas and goals with a renewed mind? Maybe you just needed a new outlook to redefine the strategy to make it happen and repurpose some things you already have in place.
Reset to Reflect!
When your favorite devices have glitches or start slowing down we typically shut it down and re-set for it to reboot and start fresh. The interesting thing is we never do it for ourselves. When we start slowing down , and forgetting things we fuel up with more caffeine or add more things to our calendar instead of slowing down. Stop and pause for a moment to reset yourself. Self care if vital for your health, sanity, business and career.
I noticed that when I made it a point to embrace self care Sundays my lifestyle and work week was more productive. EVERY Sunday I would take a luxurious bubble bath with candles, roses and everything. I only listened to instrumental music. I cooked a hot meal, put on my favorite pajamas, put out fresh flowers and light a few candles. I would then journal and plan out my week so that Monday I can get the ball running and just put everything into place.
Week 3 is all about relaxation, rejuvenation and reflection. We want to use what we have and reuse it in a way to become better , feel better and operate better.
Reset your mind to become more positive and purposeful. Reset your way of thinking and your action plans. Try it again but try it differently.
Reflect with some quiet time and journaling. Journaling really puts you in a space where you can write out everything. Even as an adult your new adult diary is perfect for identifying and categorizing your feelings and ideas.
A bad work day can have you emotionally all over the place and instead of acting on clear actions you're cluttered and charged to act on emotion . When journaling it is possible to be able to read it back and evaluate how you felt, revisit some of those moments to redo some things or look at it from new angles.
